Just how many type of Marmit Woos were released Geo? Can you post a group shot?

I notice mine has a different mouth, but the body seem the same as the one posted.

The arms of your Marmit are a bit bent too.

Marmit has released several variations of Woo with different faces and different arms. I am afraid I don't have a group shot, and Club Tokyo does not seem to have the Marmit Woos in its database.

But Lixx has a number of good shots, including group shots, on his Flickr pages under the name Beautification Syndrome. Check them out! (Here is his group shot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lixx/3020675330/)

I actually posted this in a sales thread but since it's being asked here I'll post it again:

    Marmit Woos:

year 2000: (regular arms and one row of teeth)
Light Beige/ Brown Face- 200 (run size)
    Green Faced- 100
White with D. Brown face red eyes- 50

year 2003: (furry arms and top and bottom row of teeth- included a mini figure)
    Blue Painted GID- 100
    Regular Painted GID- 100
Brown/Silver (like Geo's pic above)- not sure of run size 50?
    Orange Face Clear Painted- 50
    Flesh Face Clear Painted- 50

    year 2007: (furry arms)

No Eyes Black Woo /with brown highlights on body- 50?
No Eyes Black Woo /with blue highlights on body- 50? (actually released in 2006)
    One Eye Red Woo- 50

    M1 Woo:

    Glow Woo- 800
    Painted (mail order)
    Beams Brown/Black/Green
    Beams Gold

Now of course unpainted exist. There are unpainted clears, gid, green, red, black for marmit and flesh for M1.

    hope it helps!

    Chris

PS I tried to submit to Club Tokyo last year, even sent pics and info but they never put it up.

that thing looks awesome! this is the first time i've seen a marmit woo with a close up shot. i love how the face is all menacing and angry and the m1 face is kinda dopey. i like little variations like this, they look good grouped together. nice pic!

    Hey Chris (Lixx),

I'd be interested to know where you got your release numbers from -
In those days Marmit mainly made stuff to order
(from monthly ads in Hyper Hobby mag),
and I highly doubt there were 200 of that first Woo made.

And "Painted (mail order)" under M1go might be misleading -
unless there's another one I don't know about.
The flesh blank was originally released as part of a Lucky Bag
(in 2001, I think. At any rate, before the GID).
People who bought that Lucky Bag were given an option to return the Woo to M1go
    to be painted.
Don't think many people bothered as I've only ever seen one for sale! ;)

Alice no those Marmit Woos were first put out in 2000. Says so right on the foot "Marmit 2000", the other foot has japanese writing and 1967 (for the ultra man year) is that what you were talking about?

I got my numbers from the kaiju ultraman book that came out in this past year (with Kemur on the cover). The numbers make sense based on the rarity of certain Marmit Woos. Also it actually mentioned the original price and the exact month of the release so I'm sure they did their homework.

That's what I meant to say about the painted M1 Woo also. I was just lazy and said 'mail order" sorry if it was misleading. I knew about the sending back to M1 to be painted. Actually I've seen a few pop on YJA (not recently) months back at least 2 of them. Kept going around and around. Personally I'm a bigger fan of the Marmit Woo.

Urk! I think you might be right about the dates ...
I based what I said on them being in 'HH Dash 6',
which I thought was published in 1999 but just worked out was actually 2001.
Still refuse to believe they made 200 of the beige one though.
I reckon the guy at Marmit just made that number up.
