Went to Wondercon Sunday in the beautiful SF.I took my little brothet and my dad,as soon as my little brother saw a guy dressed as chebacca when we got there he freaked and wanted to go home even before we went in.Wondercon was much smaller this year, but the part with the porno chicks was much bigger,go figure.I scored some comicbook related shwagg I had been looking for,but was unable to purchase any Real Action Heroes by Medicom. I went to the S7 seven booth and met Ramos, and I must say he was very nice.I expected him to have clear vinyl tentacles, silver ribcage, and have the attitude. But to my suprise he seems like a really down to earth dude, very personable, soft spoken and wearing a Gargamel shirt.(thanks for the hook up)So if you had any notions of Ramos, who or what he was, he's a cool dude to meet.PEACE!-LOKdogg
thanks for the compliments. I guess this is a good time to tell the board that I now work for SUPER 7. I will be taking a lot of Brian's tasks so he can handle bigger and better things. I will be handling all the mail order, questions, requests, pre-orders and any special releases for the store and magazine. If you have any questions about toys or our stock send them this way and I will try and get them answered. I have only been here a week so I am still getting up to speed. I am very excited about this weeks Ghostfighter release. I hope everyone that wants one will be able to get one. thanks IR
Well, Ramos, let me give you a pre-thank you for handling mine and others' burning requests for pre-orders and such...Good luck and thank you, Z
Oh so that was you on the phone earlier? sounds great man, glad such a knowledgable person will be handling this stuff! Oh and thanks for gettin the email addy thing figured out. Much appreciated. -K
Congrats Ramos! Two cool guys helpin us Americans understand Japanese toy culture. It also helps you are hardcore collectors to.
Yes I moved to SF. what a move. it was a hard one. i have so much junk and my place here is super small. But I like SF better than LA. this place is hippy hill for sure. I am excited for the release tomorrow. see any of you who make it in.
Of course you know the down side to all that Tex? Good luck on getting anything good out of these Jamokes now that there are two cocks guarding the collectible hen house.........
Thats cool you will be part of the super7 crew. Brian has always had great people backing the store and magazine. Best of luck
Damn!!!! Ramos working for the Man!!! I knew it was bound to happen!!! You got props over here.... BO...!
My philosophy is let the cocks get it first and then us chicks will get the leftovers. They in some ways regurgitate it for us anyway.
