Actually, there was already quite a lot of discussion about them elsewhere in Muton's minute. I love 'em, cos they bring a fresh, fun, energetic vibe to an old sound, but they do it so well. Other people expressed distress over the amount of media coverage in Australia, and maybe we'll reach that point here. I already couldn't get tix for the show in LA this weekend as it sold out in minutes.......

Check out my video of them here, taken at Coahella using el cheapo camera: http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2472

These kids have been pretty well flogged over here. Last few months especially. I have been finding it hard to get past the history these kids are strip mining for their sound. The calm head of Muton has turned me round though and I have been getting into them a lot more. I like this sound, but if I think too much on how much like the good old stuff this sounds like, I got to turn it off!!
At least they are making it their own. Unlike the likes of Jet and now Airbourne (I was actually singing an AC/DC track to one of these guys tracks) who take more than mere inspiration.
