I'll add you so you can kick my ass have you not noticed any unlikeable differences? It just feels slower in regards to walking speed, like you crawl forward/backward. Dashing feels nerfed as hell, only a handful of characters have any real distance for it. IDK what the hell is going on with my ol super-jump - but at least there is still flying. I do enjoy the boss fight, though. Also, since I don't play SF4 or SSF4, I'm not used to the zoomed in cameras - I really miss my nice open screen, as well as seeing what's on the ground while I'm up in the air. Just another update I gotta get used to, most of you other guys are probably used to it.
installing it now, ill prob only play a few round on arcade to check it out...ill play more tomorrow night
i watched a vid of some of the fatalities..and that kung lao making his own floor saw and pulling johhny cage thru it is worth buying the game..its gonna be a bloody, amazing mess and i cant wait!
no but really.. would be nice to have other ppl play with me.. im alone.. no one to help me mule... US WEST!
in december I finally got an x box 360. I was never too interested in one but I actually really like it now. I played Arkham Asylum and cant wait for the next one, Alan Wake, Dead Rising (which just pisses me off), afro samurai (repetative but fun), and L4D2 which is awesome but I'm not amazing in FPS's but i should be getting btter since i cant afford any new games for a while : ) and all I've played lateley on PS3 is Red Dead, I had been playing Mercenaries 2 for while but I finished the campaigne and I dont have a headset for multiplayer which makes it difficult to play co-op missions, especially with 12year olds ID on both: MisfitNINe if anyone wants to play some L4D2 if I'm on.
Man...I'm just getting my ass beat in mvc3. Stupid sentinel and Dante. I need to find a solid third character. I should also stop trying new teams in ranked matches. Ain't gonna help my record none
been playing mvc3, still don't have a team i'm settled with, but i almost don't think i will care about this game in a month. not as fun to me as MvC2, even though that was one of the most broken games in history. I think i'll go back to fallout and gran turismo until they finally announce SSF4 AE for console.
I've tried to match up with you a few times now, but every time I join in it just sticks me against some other random dude. We've really got to fight sometime. I'm just sticking to arcade mode w/Ranked Matches turned on. It's pretty fun to get matched against whoever the game thinks you should fight. I'm just really hating the projectile spam from the guys who have zero skills. It's a lot more common than I thought it would be. On 360 or PS3? I can't STAND to play MvC2 online, I gave it a try off & on for a few weeks, but I reserve all my MvC2 play for one on one against friends. I was really turned off by MvC3 for the first week or so, but I finally got into it. I just got SSF4 in the mail today.. so happy to be back to L/M/H Punch & Kick buttons - L/M/H/Sp is so lame in comparison.
Mvc3 is all spam, all day. Lately I've just been running through arcade to beat it with everyone. Its also helping me find other characters to use. And I'd be down for some ssf4 too. I much rather prefer the 3 p and 3k buttons too. My fave vs game is still capcom vs snk 2. Cammy, Ken and Joe higashi from fatal fury was my squad. I liked that it's team battles but still sf and not crazy air juggle, super hyper combos that is mvc
I wanted to get MvC3 but the interest has waned (always been more of a VF fan). It's been relegated to a sale purchase. I still need to finish Dead Space before going onto the sequel. Unfortunately, the only 'game' I've had time to dink around with is Art Academy for the DS. Got it as a novelty. It teaches you more than expected but the limitations of the the stylus are laughable.
I agree, I just find myself sucking at making great play, much less combos, out of 3 attack buttons and a "begin-air-juggle" button. I just need to suck it up & deal until SFA3 finally ports to PS3. Absolutely. But lessssssssss spam, or less of the same spam & same damn teams over and over, compared to online MvC2 matches. And yes, Capcom vs SNK 2 is dramatically better and un-broken. The ratio system is nice to tinker with, too. It's one of the only games that I don't totally rock w/Akuma, though.
Recently picked up MvC3 and definitely does need some time to get used to. Are you guys playing with the default button layout or customized? I set mine up so that way it's a bit similar to how I play MvC2. L H P1 M S P2 That's the button layout I use. I just have to remind myself that I can't knock opponents in the air with crouching H anymore. Haha
I went with this, since it reminded me of SNK stick layouts M H P1 L S P2 But it does make for slower & heavier attacking, as I use my thumb a lot less than my pointer & middle fingers. I may try swapping the P1 & S positions later, though.
Red Ring? Eeep ours did that in less than a year after we bought it. Thankfully, it was still covered under warranty. Not so now. Is yours still? In between Nate and his MvC3 I sneak in an old favorite, Beyond Good and Evil in HD. Still waiting for the sequel... T____T
Apparently the arcade stick I bought online got in yesterday but my wife didn't tell me. Ima try it out tonight and probably suck really hard.
