So we all need to laugh sometime. I try to laugh as much as possible especially when rent is due, lose an auction, or I get a celga invoice. Was wondering what shows make fellow skullbrainers laugh the most? Lately for me: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (been watching this since it's inception and it's finally catching on now which is good) Curb Your Enthusiasm Flight Of The Conchords Mighty Boosh Nathan Barley and of course the two standard ones: Seinfeld Family Guy
bought season 2 od sunny in Philadelphia a week or so ago, but haven't had a chance to watch yet. Loved season 1. 30 Rock Simpsons Reno 911!
Trailer Park Boys The Office: Both the British & American versions. Curb Your Enthusiasm Invader Zim Undeclared Family Guy South Park Reno 911
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marvelous_Misadventures_of_Flapjack My favorite show right now, and the best cartoon I think has come out in years.
I DID see that. It premiered last night. That and Chris Rock's new stand-up had me so close to subscribing to HBO...
Same shows for me I just watched all of Nathan Barley about 2 days ago! Such a great show. I'm hoping they do a region 1 Boosh box set, but I'm getting used to watching all this stuff on YouTube. Bouncy Castles- Genius!
I wouldnt normally have HBO but I got it free for a month with my switch to Fios. I'll let you know how it is!
The Office, Reno 911, 30 Rock, Scrubs (It's funny to me like "The Office" probably is to people who work in offices.), Robot Chicken, Seinfeld, and I'm sure there are others I'm just not thinking of
No Arrested Development love? Curb, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Venture Bros. Speaking of VB, I really hope they get season 3 out on DVD ASAP.
Season 3 of Venture Brothers has been kinda disappointing, I thought. Still buying it when it comes out, but the magic's kinda worn out. WHover mentioned the Misadventures of Flapjack..great choice. That show is so totally over the top. I'm amazed it got on the air. Plus it looks great.
I have to give serious props to 30 Rock, I'm just in stitches from that show. Futurama and Family Guy of course. How about this -- Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? I think there are six episodes, and holy crap, they are just about one of the funniest things I have EVER seen. I would think board members on Skullbrain would eat it up, def. some monsters to be seen. It's "intentional kitsch" and just hits the nail squarely on the head.
Metalocalypse is the best thing ever. Also: It's Always Sunny In Philly Curb Your Enthusiasm Little Britain Catherine Tate Venture Bros. Upright Citizens Brigade* Kids In The Hall* *I had the extreme pleasure of seeing both of these live. Amy Poehler is incredibly nice and very chatty.
