I don't think that's cooked horse in that pic, I think that's basashi, thinly sliced raw colt. I had that on my first trip there, delicious! How was it, Isaac?
My Food Flicka I had a bio prof who was really interested in parasites - he and his research buddies went to this sushi place, ordered a ton of stuff and then held everything up to the ceiling lights to try and find organisms in the flesh. Pretty obnoxious really, and they got kicked out.
that looks like raw horse I've never had it raw, but am looking forward to it. European horse breakfast sausage is awesome.
That is raw horse meat he is eatting. Basashi is what they call it in Japan. I tricked him in saying that it's tuna and he startted sniffing it and making sure it was tuna. So once he pops it in his mouth I told himit's horse meat and what you know!!! He said it tastes good. Taste like tuna he says. But that is the only one he ate and I don't think he will eat it again.
