Hails to everyone on the board! I have lurked for a while but finally did the right thing and signed on. This is my first post and I am very happy to be a member. I love toys and still have my Shoguns from when I was little. I have a few Pushead toys and some Godzilla but nothing like the awesome collections here. I really appreciate the good vibes on the board and always enjoy reading it. With Usugrows recent show, it is a good intro for my collection, enjoy!
Wow that is some rad stuff, skull skates had some killer Usugrow decks a while ago, you should hit up the website to see if they still have anything.
Welcome. Cool stuff got any originals in that mix? They have the killer skull with a Yankees cap on, I don't think it was for sale at the opening , but I'm West Coast Cali all day.
yeah, it is listed on the pricelist, but i'm pretty sure there was no pin on it during the opening (because i was looking to see which ones featured a skull and a bandana that were left). I think it was a last minute addition when they were figuring out what to put for sale and they just forgot to put the pin before the show. i'd definately get it if usugrow whited out the NY and put on an SF
Hey everyone, thanks for the welcomes and kind words! The piece in the middle is called "Lord of the Flies" and it is an original. The item on the left middle and the two on the right are portfolios of his work. A ton of awesome stuff. In the lower left are 2 CDs from Usugrows band, Evil Cockroach. I have more stuff that I will show later on as well as the toys that I have. I am looking forward to my own Detolf within a month or so. Has anyone seen the new glass case they have at IKEA called "Biby"? It is made of metal and really cool looking, but only available in red or white, so far.
I'm down for this ...we could have the MA equivalent of LASK as well ..well I dunno how many of us there are here to be honest but it could be a good time.
i live in western mass. i'd do a 1 time nerdquake thing in boston but am far too lazy to drive that far often.
Great collection. I didn't know he had portfolios available. Just got the "Love Hate From JP" book in the mail, awesome.
