I am so freakin stoked! I just won 2 floor seats to tonights TOOL concert at the Staples Center for 79.00! I did not even think I was going to this show until now. 2 floor seats for me and my bro! This show is gonna kill! The stereoscopic sleeve on the new album is AMAZING. Liked their projections at Coachella this year, perfect watching from a long distance after a hard days night.
I went to that show last thursday. Isis was awesome, but Tool...damn. That's All I can say. Those guys are unreal. I had 12th row on the floor, and it was top 5 best shows I've ever seen. they actually debuted the live performance of 10,000 days and Wings For Marie that night, which was a big deal to Tool fans, because they haven't played that song live up until then. That band was so, so great that night. dd anyone catch the Friday show? What was the setlist?
I totally agree. Tool was amazing. I would have liked to hear a bit more from Undertow and Aenemia but I was real satisfied with the set they played. Once of the best live bands for sure... Those boys can play!
I'm going to see them tomorrow. I noticed the San Antonio show was canceled on the 12th due to Maynard being sick. I hope he will be ready to go. It's my first Tool show ever. Tool has been my favoite band for half my life since I was 13. I just picked up Panopticon by Isis and am looking forward to seeing them as well.
