Well it got up to 103.92 yesterday which was a 5 year high, but dropped to 103.19 today. Still not as nice as when your toy dollar was good for 122 yen (2007) but hopefully the trend continues that way.
Wow the rate for my middleman just jumped to 1:1 100 yen = 1 dollar. Haven't seen that rate in years!
Not sure of there was a more recent thread, but the search engine is giving me trouble with my search terms. Its back under $1. Time to take a break from buying. :'(

And, while I can certainly appreciate the pain of my fellow southern hemisphere colonials, while an exchange rate of 0.74cents to the Yen might seem higher than AUS or NZ, historically speaking that is atrocious, when considering the power of our relative currencies, and how closely Canada's economy is tied to the greenback.
