Well... this IS interesting: I wonder if Jerry, Glenn and Doyle will demand separate dressing rooms etc.. lol! Only 2 shows (so far). IMO if they did a tour with this line up, they could all retire, and Jerry could stop doing whatever the hell it is he's calling the Misfits these days :shudders: I may see if I can get tickets... here's to hoping!

Everyone and their mother has been railing that this is a massive ca$h grab. I guess we'll have to wait and see about future shows. They definitely should do gigs in NJ and Lodi would be quite appropriate. I'd prefer a non-festival show so you don't have a truncated setlist.
I suspect that this is exactly that, knowing that there is money to be made, they're finally doing what the fans have wanted since the 80s. I'm sure that all will have separate dressing rooms, and will just do what they gotta do on stage then leave in different directions until the next show. I'll wager that there will be other, non-festival shows, or even a full-on tour (maybe worldwide). Then they can say they did it and never have to speak to each other again. Glenn and Jerry are such polar opposites now that I don't think they'll ever really be able to see eye to eye. Shit, Jerry has even been changing lyrics to songs Glenn wrote to make them more 'family friendly'! wtf? If he has a problem with Glenn's somewhat dark subject matter, he sure ain't making a stink about it for these 2 shows they have lined up! I'm sure we'll never see the end of the almost KISS level output of merchandise from Jerry though... >facepalm<
So this is happening this weekend, anyone attending? Im driving over tonight. Honestly I expect its a cash grab but seeing the original Misfits has been a dream of mine since I heard them in middle school. If The Smiths ever get back together, I can die happy!
