jaysea420.. great 7th post! you ought to get some kinda prize, i sooo wish that defunct but not decayed HMS could address you on this & I would in fact and actually pay membership dues here for that to happen. but.. since that aint likely, in honor of someone with balls to speak up and a backbone to support the respect he EARNED here, please just go back to what ever you are smoking, I do NOT think you are showing any indication you are likely to be of relevance here and may also as you are indicating, not be quite ready to swim here.

i am by no means trying to pick on you personally fellow skullbrain.org member, this is also directed at the member i quoted too, as someone whos father is a deceased US Veteran that was literally haunted by memories of Vietnam WAR until the day he passed.. I wanted to take the time to personally let you both know how really ignorant you are being here on many levels you may not even be consciously aware of do to latent downgrade genetics.

to the member I quoted, who do you think you are to come on here and after brief gestation be an outright asshat to respected old guard legions for expressing their opinion? i DARE you, go to any major metropolitan police station or hospital ER anywhere in AMERICA on any given Saturday night then ask them how cool it is to make jokes and act tough about guns. then try to crack some lame ass jokes at a physical therapy session for shooting victims.

Last go to a VA hospital and see the horrific damage firearms and weapons can do and realize your ignorance here. You might have impressed or stimulated a few juvenile members here but you are seriously offending some grown ass men. If you are really more interested in gun talk than toys and then in turn act like its funny I agree you are in the wrong fucking place, so please and thank you moreover Go to heLL.

Well now you're just being stupid. What's the primary function of a knife? To be used as a cutting tool. What's the primary purpose of a bat? To hit a ball. Hammer? To pound nails. Hands? To grasp. Vehicles? Transportation. Now what's the primary function of a gun? TO KILL.
    Idiot.

I'd just like to add that for me, the main reason why not to wave guns in peoples faces and joke about it here is that guns are made for killing. Single reason for their existence. If you want ot talk about bats, knifes, ropes, vehicles or people, I'm sure we can find other subjects to cover other than murder.

I wish I had some new toy to post here! But I don't, someone really needs to show off their new scores!

edit. I just noticed NT commented something very similar to what I was writing. Sorry if it's redundant.

Wow, some of ya'all really need to take some Midol and chill. I was just posting an opinion, but since I was called out by a few I'll represent myself.

Also, this will be my last post in this "discussion" on guns and weapons, this is a toy show off thread and I'm not about to go back and forth about this forever. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. If you want to start a discussion about this make a thread, or pm me. Personally though I'd rather you didn't as I'm not a fan of eating the biscuit.

Mutonismyfriend, I noticed when you were asking your question you left out how a person can spray a crowd with a vehicle. Is that because it's happened time and time again? Both on accident and on purpose. It's not like anyone has ever used an airplane as a weapon either, right?

As for mass murdering with knives I guess you didn't hear about Wu Huanming, or Zheng Minsheng, or Ramon Salcido, or many others.

There are no winners or losers in this. It is what it is. I was merely stating an opinion. You can hate guns all you want. If you don't like them then don't buy one. It's your choice. It's your freedom. It doesn't make you a wuss or a macho man, and though you've been on here much longer than I we can agree on at least one thing - Let's get back to the toys :D

---NT---, You tell me the purpose of a knife in your world. Because from my understanding they've had a pretty long history and much of it has involved KILLING. From Cavemen until today knives have been used for multitude of reasons, mostly though for killing. I wonder what Julius Caesar would think about those harmless little knives? Machetes are pretty handy for carving trails in the jungle, but I wonder how many Rwandans would view them?

Baseball bats are basically a club, AGAIN long history. Again have been used for killing many, many people. As well as the rest of your simplistic views for uses of objects. Guns are a tool. That's all they are. They can be used for good, or they can be used for evil. It's how people teach people to use them. I could give you plenty of examples of all the things I've named being used in murder after murder, but having talked to many people in the past with the view point you just expressed I know I won't be able to change your mind. And personally, I don't care to.

It's amazing though how people only started killing other people when guns were invented, right? ;)

kichigai, and that was a magnificent 666th post my friend! I think I'll even copy it to word and print it out to hang on my mirror so every morning I can look at it and be in awe of your verbal prowess! I think your inspiring words should be my prize. Sound good?

I could care less when and where you think I can "swim", or your thoughts on my genetics, my ignorance, my relevance, or whatever. For not trying to pick on a fellow board member personally you sure have a grab bag of personal insults to spew. As I stated I was merely writing an opinion. Sorry I didn't bring you cards and candy, but I'm not the type put out on the first date. Next time though, I'll make sure to tell you how pretty you look.

I have a lot of respect for your father for fighting for the freedoms I'm expressing here. Freedoms that we all enjoy in the United States. I'm genuinely sorry to hear of his struggles, but let's not bring war into this because war is a totally different concept then what I'm talking about. My empathy for him though does not detract from the fact that it's not guns that kill people, it's people that kill people. Put a gun on a table in a roomful of people and let me know when it sprouts arms and legs and kills someone. I bet ya though you put some crazy, angry person in a roomful of people and s/he will act first using their hands, or whatever they can get their hands on.

Also, if you were directing me to go out to a major metropolitan police station, E.R., or wherever I don't have to go far, nor to a "major metropolitan area". I live in a semi-rural area where people are victimized all the time. All the time I hear of people being stabbed, robbed, raped, burnt, run over, strangled, shot, killed, etc. The mafia used to be heavy in this area so add car bombs to that equation as well. Hell, the college I go to just had a major shooting incident the other day where many people were shot at a Frat party. So trust me when I say I know guns are not the problem in our society. A couple years ago my friend committed suicide (overdose btw, not a gun) because he was going to be going to jail for running someone over and using his car as a weapon. So I think I have enough experience in this debate to hold my own. I know how fucked up people can be, more so, how people are.

Lastly, I come on this board to look at toys, but there's a bunch of shit that I see come up that isn't toys. Who cares if someone posts a gun? As I originally said, I think it should have gone in the other thread, but that's no reason to get all pissy. For a 'grown ass man' you're acting like a little girl about this. I didn't call anyone out in my OG post. I just mentioned how comical it is to see the gun debate. I'd appreciate the same showing.

I'm done with this now. Good Day!

jaysea420, do you come from another century? Please let me know of your fabulous time machine, for I'd love to take a ride in it. See I live in a modern society, one where I only knew the main purpose of said items (bats, knives, etc) to be used for what they are supposed to be used for. I never knew I was suppose to give into my primal cave man genetics and randomly use them to hurt people.

Weapons don't make you tough, they just make you dangerous, especially in unstable hands.

Someday I hope to do a Greasebat in those sort of washed out, vintage colors with a played with look.

What a great haul of items.

And, that is a great idea to do a Greasebat in the washed out vintage colors! I can't wait to see what you come up with. :) And that brown/gold greasebat that you'll be releasing very soon is amazing in itself. Keep 'em coming! :D

Yeah, I had been eyeballing that Cereal Box for a while but my rule is that there has to be at least two things located at the same shop in order for me to justify shipping. I was amazed that it stuck around for so long, and then the FC Phantom showed up and I had to go for them.

Nice idea! I sort of copied the new colors from a Bandai giant Gomora that's sitting by my computer at all times. Dark brown vinyl with gold highlights... the Gomora has white eyes/teeth and black chest, knees and back though...

I'm real happy with this new color Greasebat, he looks a little more menacing in the darker colors, less like a cereal mascot. Although I love that too!

A warshed out vintage style may be on the horizon.

^ I agree :) I really like the other Greasebat colorways, but the brown and gold colors definitely look great on him! And a washed out vintage style Greasebat!?!?! I am just dreaming and drooling of what he will look like! I really do hope you do make that version! Can't wait! :D

^ That Peguila and the brown Greasebat would look really good standing next to each other! If you do wind up getting the brown Greasebat, take a pic of the Peguila and the Greasebat together if you can. I would love to see them side by side :D
