I guess the 'Kings' are kaijin (Japanese name for Plant Man is Shokubutsu Kaijin). I've always considered the Invaders to be aliens.

The original color Walder Kaijin were done in both solid and clear w/ guts versions (solids were first). Hard to tell from the photo.

 

That's not hard, especially if you are talking about the last release, was this supposed to be in purple?
