By far the most intriguing episode yet. I'm still wondering about the significance of the last scene (haven't read the comics, if that matters). And finally- someone who appears to give a hoot about the whys and hows of the zombies.
KNIFEHAND!!! haha i'm curious to see what happens to Rick when he meets the governor, in terms of whether it'll be comic book accurate or not.
did the scientist guy who makes the tea remind anyone else of gale bedeker from breaking bad? just the way he talked and the way he was presented seemed so gale to me anyways, episode 3 was really good. this season is by far the best yet
It really bugged the sh*t outta me that the Governor made a 100 meter head shot, on a moving target, with his AR15 rifle WITH NO REAR SIGHT!
That's great news. I just watched "The Dead"again the other night and it's one of the better zombie movies made. I like that exotic location appeal since we all know the World War Z movie is going to suck!
Spoiler chris is going to jump up and down and yell from the roof tops with excitement after this epp Whoa !!!
Spoiler As much as I didn't like Lori, it was really really sad to see her go like that. Not even getting to say goodbye or say her peace with Rick, Carl having to shoot her in the head. What's even sadder is T Dog having to die and Carol gets to live. T Dog is another one of those characters I relate to because he just made sense in the chaos, had a good head on his shoulders, and contributed to the group, unlike Carol (same as Shane before Lori made him nuts). Guess we're never going to see that Merle/TDog story arc unfold. The whole episode was sad, argghhh now we have a baby to deal with? What the hell is up with Andrea making goo goo eyes with the Governor and telling Merle everything? Michonne needs to slap some sense into her! Something tells me we're going to see those two in chains soon with the Governor doing whatever he wants to them. I get no sleep on Sunday nights because the new episodes are available for download at 3:20am and I always wake up to watch them. Worth losing sleep...Yeah anyone who was ready to write this show off after a slow start last season- this season is definitely redemption.
Try http://www.ch131.so They usually post the episodes about an hour after they air. Beats waiting till after 3am.
Spoiler damn it t-dog, why'd you have to go and get bit! Now we'll never see him comfort Merle Killer Episode!
Hey thanks but I prefer my first viewing in the HD I ordered through itunes There was a reason I spent the extra dough on HD. I'm up pretty early most nights/days as I suffer from horrible insomnia. One realistic thing I hope they address this season is running out of ammo. No ammo is being made anymore, and Grimes stash from the police station has to be spent by now given the time leap forward. It was mentioned the prison stash they found was low, so hopefully either they find something or just about run out (after they clear the whole prison or they're fucked!). Daniel- I thought the same thing, for a second I was like is he laughing or crying?
See this made sense to me. I mean...she's been on the outskirts of society in hiding with michone and two walkers for weeks or months. It makes sense that she's ultimately relieved to be in Woodbury where everything is peaceful and serene. Few other thoughts... Rick does suck at crying. I get it..but still. And Carl (in the comic has become likable maybe because he doesn't talk that much.) On the show...he's still annoying.
Sometimes hysterical crying sounds a little like laughter. I dunno, for me that weirdness just added to the human pathos of the scene. I thought it was seriously emotional, and was surprised at feeling moved that way by this series for the first time. Intense episode!
Super intense episode, didn't see that coming ( especially since it differs how Lori dies in the comic's ). Can't wait to see how the rest of this season pan's out.
After some thought I don't think Lori is dead. Unless they show it, it's not definite. This has been proven.
I agree, that means there is still hope that they follow along with the comic on her death. I like that they diverge from the books but her death was one of the biggest in the comics
Carl has shown the willingness to do what has to be done (i.e. shooting Shane who he cared about), so I'm pretty sure he delivered the necessary headshot to his Mom. Just like Shane, Lori ain't coming back.
