He emerges from the cave, sees his own shadow and scurrys back into the dark crevase. This sign means we have 2 more months until the next issue of S7 !
Haven't gotten my issue yet... >_< Anyone else in Texas and/or the South get theirs? Just curious... I think Texas is about next to last on distribution on a lot of things... with Florida being very last, as I recall. Maybe it will be there today...
They did a really great job on the mag. From the layout to the printing, it is really top notch. Really great quality. Just one more reason to re-up my subscription!
Hmmm couple of ? Haven't received my issue 12 yet so can't weigh in with the comments. But I'm curious, I'm seeing a lot of posts saying "best issue yet" Best issue since when ? Meaning how many on this board have been either a subscriber or purchaser since issue #1 ? What would you consider the "next best issue" ? How many have just recently subscribed ( since issue 10 or 11 maybe) and purchased all the available back issues ?
YOur right^ I meant the best issue that I have so far,I only have four, but Im a subscriber and plan to buy the back issues.
I just bought the new issue (Europe here!) and gotta say I love it!! Congrats to you guys for putting all this on paper ! The BxH photos are great!
I finally got my issue, and yes, I think it is indeed perhaps the best ever. I have been around since the beginning, buying the mag from my comic shop for the first few issues, then subscribing early on, like issue 4, I think. It is quite interesting to see the growth and "evolution" of the mag. I believe it now serves a good audience for toys, art, and culture items that cross-pollinate. Love the Pushead interview and survey, the Blobpus visual guide was excellent (as I now know what colour is what name! Toxic green is what I want!), the Jet Jaguar article was extremely welcome (big JJ fan -- now do Megalon!!), and Brian confirmed what I thought was only a fevered imagining -- that Hedorah is going to conquer us all thru sheer numbers. ^_^ And how cool is it to hear not only from Take-shit, but Commander Hiddy himself? This mag just keeps getting better all the time. Hopefully the balance will be maintained between classic and new vinyl coverage and guides, and the culture news will continue to bring to light new cool things and music. I have this mag to thank for introducing me to Cocobat and Balzac, bands of which I am now very much a fan. Keep up the excellence, comrades! You are of the rawk.
