International Curry Festival?
Damn, that sounds like good eats.

 

I'll be in LA the same day for a similar event. It will be for Burmese New Years though, so it probably won't be as good.

 

got a location? could be fun to do both.

 

So I went to my thing, anyone go to either one?

 

I missed this but would have liked to go.. I need to surf mutons minute more!

 

I was in Thai Town. It was to hot. EVERYONE was hiding under awnings and the resteraunts were overcrowded by those seeking solace from the heat. Well organized though. About 6 blocks long. Crafts, food, singing, kickboxing, massage, etc.

 

We had live shows, traditional comedy skits, food, and water fights!

 

I was there for a bit, just long enough to get some noodles and a thai ice tea. Well organized for sure, but not enough shady areas to take refuge. I really wanted to stay for the curry contest, but I couldn't hack it. I'll go back next year if the weather is better.
