So I have noticed a spike in the trend of super cheap goods coming out of China that are obviously being Ebayed by factory workers. I haven't scored anything "out of the ordinary" i.e. toys molded in fresh non production colors but have heard of some instances. Just figured I would drop this thread and see if anything interesting comes of it, to date I have mostly scored some rad uber cheap Super Mario vinyls and a Stitch kigurumi, Also keep in mind DO NOT POST LINKS TO ANYTHING as there is no need to blow the whistle on anyone!
There's been some Kawstrooper "sample pulls" as well as some other Kaws stuff from the same seller. Very shady, all auctions have been 16 hrs long and seem to hover around $50.
I worked on a FB/Kongregate game. The company I work for made plush toys for the game. They were never distributed but a few made it onto ebay from a seller in China. I've been tempted to contact the seller to see if I could get a full set of them. This seller has a bunch of Nintendo plush too. edit: I also bought 1 of those bootleg KVPs a year or so back. They are really shitty quality but it kinda makes them charming if you're into that stuff. The thing couldn't really stand up unless it's feet were positioned weird. I sold it a while back, I should have kept it. It was such an ugly but cool toxic green.
Recently many Blythe dolls have been turning up. Makes many doll people angry but makes me . Even the craziest of designer vinyl entitled nitwits don't compare to some of those bitter and sad sad dipsticks.
Yeah, the Blythe started heading towards ebay after taobao took off. That is what it took for an assortment of hair colors apparently.
