I read somewhere the March Issue would speak about BXH? Could you please tell us a bit more? Oh and do you know when it should be available in Europe? Thanks!
The issue is being printed right now and does indeed have an article about BxH. What specifics would you like to know?
Brian, I'm not writing this to kiss your ass...OK maybe a little! But when I first discovered Super 7 around issue 3 or 4 I was blown away. You guys do an awesome job!!!!!
I can feel the love! (not literally.) The next one has a new design feel, and some really cool surprises, I hope you like it!
Thanks, just wanted to know if it was a small article or a huge one, I guess I'll have to wait and see, I'll definitly buy it, i just saw the cover, looks great as always!! Do you have any idea when you'll ship copies to european retailers?
In just reading through the new issue, it was interesting to see how much metaphorical thought is behind the symbolism of the Blobpus design. Overall, I thought there was some very high quality writing, and interesting coverage. There seems to be more focus now on elucidating all of the roots of some major players in the current Japanese vinyl excitement. I'm still trying to get used to the changes in layout and design. It is well crafted, but I am still accustomed to the older format which somehow had a different flavor. Arevalo's photography was rather breathtaking in many cases. The magazine seems to be evolving on many levels. It'll be interesting to see future directions. Hiddy's new column holds promise for some interesting content. Somehow, everything seems a little SB-centric these days (not just S7) not that this is a bad thing, but it is stragely amazing to me nonetheless how much exposure these toys are getting compared to a year ago. Justin's editorial about Lily's rendering of the Secret Base figures was touching. It's also unique to me to see something like this happening. The only nitpicky thing that set off my radar (being the Japanese language scholar freak that I am) was the butchering of close to a handful of Japanese term/name transliterations. I guess most people will be none the wiser, so it probably doesn't matter in the end.
