I think they're different enough - I really like the logo, The 4 S'es look pretty abstract and look more like a pattern to me. I'm not sure if anyone who didn't know what it represented would recognize them as letters.

I asked my wife and she thought they looked like legs. Guess it's just me then!

 

My first thought was SS (Nazis) my second was Black Flag bars a little and my 3rd was KISS. When I get a better look it's a bit different and a bit the same.
