Oh, I those are super awesome! And the packaging makes so much more sense. I admittedly thought the packaging was very strange, but I didn't realize it was a Bento box / homage to the past. Just thought the guy liked metal tins, haha.
The packaging and bonus items are always next level and make total sense with the actual toys. Out of them I think the colouring books been my fav extra so far.
Got the new mini Gigara and tower set today. Base vinyl is lovely and the packaging is exceptional as always.
Just got my email for the Godesu helmet!! this one’s gonna be especially fun to open up. Anyone else score?
Congrats on the win!! I got a winning email as well. This is such a fun looking release! I already have a plan to display it on the big Splatterhouse toy-head I have on the corner shelf here. I’m curious how big this helmet will be!
@grosspustule congrats to you too! somebody recently posted a pic on IG of Lenny holding a couple of vintage kaiju helmets. If it’s a similar size I’d say it’s for like a 8 to 10 year old kid.
Glad to see some SB Spectrum fans scoring this one - unfortunately, had to pass on this lotto but cannot wait to see pics of this beauty. Seconding @animator - we're gonna need to see this on someones head!
I'll warm mine up and cram onto my head when it arrives. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a Redking vintage helmet when I had the chance, for less than what I just paid for this. Oh vey.
Just saw this photo posted by someone on Instagram this morning. For those wondering what this puppy looks like on a grown mans head, here ya go! View this post on Instagram
I think this goes straight to the top of my toys of the year list! wasn’t expecting the mini godesu too which was an awesome surprise!
What an absolutely goddamn excellent release! Congratulations. Pins look great in the background too I did not enter this one, as I wasn't sure I had the space for a new Gigara. But photos like this really make me wish I had!
Great shots!! The painting on this one is so awesome. really excited mine is out for delivery right now! C’mon UPS, hurry up!!
Thanks @zindabad ! yeah this one takes the last spot on my current Spectrum Lab shelf so dunno what I’ll do next time. (Who am I kidding I’ll still go in for it!!)
This was the first lottery of his I was able to enter (I didn't win). Really beautiful piece and I'll keep trying. Congrats folks.
I'm sure most of you may have already seen this. It's absolutely tragic. I sincerely hope he recovers. Hello everyone, it has been a while. This is Matsuo from Spectrum Lab. In late June, I had an accident at sea, broke my neck and injured my spinal cord, and am currently in the hospital. At first, I was in a life-or-death situation, but now I am in a stable condition. However, because of the spinal cord injury, I'm still unable to move from the neck down and spends my days resting in the hospital. I am preparing to transfer to a rehabilitation hospital for further rehabilitation. Currently, I cannot move my hands and cannot see any e-mails or DMs. Please understand that I will reply as soon as I recover. To my fans and business associates, I'm apologize for any concern this may cause you, but I will do my best to stay positive. Mitsunori Matsuo
My goodness. That’s terrible to hear. I hope he can recover and regain his mobility and quality of life.
I just saw this post too, such terrible and scary news. I hope he gets better quickly and the rehabilitation helps him regain the use of his hands. What a sad thing to happen to an artist
I wonder if someone like Creature Bazaar could do a fundraiser or a friend could start a gofundme. Not sure what healthcare costs in Japan are like and if something like that is not as accepted in Japanese culture but I’d like to contribute
Japan has universal health care so his medical bills shouldn't be an issue. There are incidental things like meals in the hospital, etc. that a GoFundMe or something like that can help with, plus if he has a family, they may need some help. I hope his treatment helps him regain some function. This is really devastating and I wish him the best.
