It caught me off guard. At first I just kind of looked at it and said - 'Huh, a pig dressed like a policeman' - then the light went off in my head: yoink! I like to think so, I'll see about a cinerama shot whence I return back home.
here y'go. My "display areas" are not particularly lighting friendly, so give a guy a break, willyas?
heya, its a mega dorky pursuit, but i collect rudolph the red nose reindeer (based on the claymation) figures in particular, the Abominable!!! edit: thats a SUPER fun, rad collection of different figs!
About a month ago I was on a plane and I sat next to the guy who owns all the orginal figures from the actual Rudolph show.
Thanks, guys. It's funny - I don't pay too much attention to my "non-Japanese/vinyl/chogokin" figure collecting any more, just picking up and receiving unlooked for the occasional odd piece that catches my eye (such as Ossifer Porkchop, there), and thus it, and the display, has grown almost organically along very vague lines. Before taking this wider shot, I couldn't help but realize that the mess could benefit from a bit of a more thoughtful shuffle, not to mention a dusting. Thanks for being kind about its haphazardness. I LOVE the Bumble and, like most of us, grew up watching the specials with a non-discerning delight. Hrm. I wonder: The Bumble may be my first "giant monster" love!
