I don't even understand drinking in excess. I didn't have my first alcoholic drink until I was 24, and had stopped again before I turned 25. Its just a waste of money and a stupid thing to do to your body.
I went out last night , and had a bottle of wine with a friend in a bar, i@m out tonight (another bar) and the weekend. Us brits have to drink, it's the law.
Is that $1.75 usd? Good price! The club above my cinema usually has stints of $2AUD schooners, which is a decent amount of beer (425ml). Yum now I want beer. Damn you Andy.
I hear the pointlessness of drinking to excess. But you know sometimes I just need to do it. I can go weeks without a drop, then suddenly after a rough day I just think l want to get drunk. Makes no real sense, but I feel better (if hung over) for it.
gotta admit feeling the burn now (it's 5pm london time) just tired and hungover ! Still out to bar for dinner with my friend Josie......you only have one life , might as well shorten it with pickled Liver.
Were you drinking at the Double Down? Sometimes my lungs hate me the next day when I do that (i'm not a smoker)
Drinking to the point of stumbling, mumbling, soiling your pants, and spitting up on you shoes, is just stupid behavior. Enjoying some casual social drinking occasionally can be great. The trick is knowing the difference. That being said, tomorrow night I will be getting my swerve on watching the fight with a few beers.
I can have a good time drinking, but since I've been living alone, I haven't had a drink...don't want to get started drinking by myself in a dark corner.
I'm over the "drinking to excess" thing. Now, I can go out and have a few really good beers, get a little buzz, and it's all good. Can't beat a good hefeweizen or pale ale...
I rarely drink. But when my girlfriend wants to go out dancing, I need a little help from my friend alcohol.
