The Eyezon looks great. I also dig the Frankenberry Kun back there, post more pics when it's done. Also looking forward to the demo at SDCC.
the eyezon looks great. the auto-style flames translates pretty well to it. the matango is killer. the woo's colors are sweet, but the sculpt has a lot of texture to it that I think you could have utilized a little more. The glossy metallics on it are more suited for smoother pieces (in my opinion). Good work again. Your paint skills are very impressive as always
All the paint jobs are terrific! But I don't like the Eyezon sculpt at all. Now that Matango...I would LOVE to have something like that on my shelves (whenever I get around to building some shelves)! It's gorgeous!
these are all amazing. i got a soft spot for metallics. That Matango is definitely top notch! As for the Eyezon, I normally don't dig anything flame related. i think it is a lingering condition based on a). the stupid flames that ruined optimus prime in the movie b). the stupid movie that ruined the transformers c). the guy who lives a few blocks down from me who has a million cars all flame painted. But this one holds my eye like no flames have ever done before!
really liking these. I like the use of multiple colors in different areas on the matango, I think thats what sets these apart from your last stuff. also really liking the flames on the eyezon, although I agree w/ silver, I usially hate flamejobs.
Thanks for all of the good words. In person there is much to see. Honestly, I'm not into flames like silvers neighbor .I call my style real fire because they are not masked off to look like lobster claws. I will be posting many more traditional custom painted kaiju figures in the coming weeks. I'm really digging all of these sculpts unpainted. Thanks again, Matt
Thanks guys!. The woo should be with me at sdcc. It looks pretty crazy in person. I think it has just enough. The custom eyezon has found a new home on Mr. Mark Nagatas shelf
