Finally picked this little guy up after many unsuccessful attempts - Marusan Yunitangu Yonezawa Saidon - Villain from Ninja Arashi - Can someone school me on this guys name please? I'm very excited about this figure - Bullmark Messie Seijin And a little pharmaceutical mascot action too! I am loving this guy - affectionately named "Super B".
Man great scores all around! I'm not sure on the Ninja Arashi character's name...but I think vintagevinyl has that one and a complete set of the villains and might know. The 'Super B' mascot is insanely awesome!
Hi-yah! My Google-fu is strong this evening! http://www.mandarake.co.jp/information/2006/04/02/spr02/index.html His name is "Onibi Mamushi"- toy is made by Bandai from Henshin Ninja Arashi. What a cool series name. Love the Yunitang!... Maru's version has more character than the Bear Model sculpt, I think.
That guy is awesome! Do you have his name in Japanese? I want to do some digging. Is he an Ultraman character? -- jJ
Thanks guys! @ Daniel - Thanks for the info. God bless you and your google-fu. I really like the Marusan version of the Yunitang a lot more than the Bear Model as well. It has a certain feel to it that really appeals to me. Much like the Bullmark Guiro and Messie seijin figures. @ ElvisFromHell - The Yunitang is not standard size. He's about 4" tall. The Marusan Yunitang is from Ultraman Ace. This figure actually came with him as well.
im digging all of your pick ups. love the range of taste in all of these. alien, kaiju , pachi, villian and mascot . i think you just ran the table !
Not for nothing Tim, but your pick ups are always so amazing, I want you as my toy buyer . I would love to have a book of your collection catalogued with info on each figure.
Thanks guys. I'll admit to having a preference for a really eclectic mix when it comes to my collection. It makes it fun and as Flynn once put it "the vinyl well runs deep".
I saw one of those villains on yja awhile back and thought it was really cool but had no frame of reference for it but it instantly stood out. Awesome pickups Tim. So envious of a few of them.
