Here are 2 more bandai seijin in the linework style; old bone and blue w/metallics and bright spots: Now these 3 are kind of in the air; mix of airbrush, spray and brush, no linework. Didn't want to do the same old thing, but they don't look done somehow...ton of interference color on them, but I can't seem to get lights right to show that in the photo. Any comments or hopefully, tips from you nice people?
I still don't know what to make of these. For some reason, the ones with the lines kind of reminds me of Moebius' art. There's something about the lines and the softness of the colors. Thanks for sharing your experiments. It's fun watching you develop your style.
Thanks, but Moebius is waaaay better. He has nice smooth, graded lines that are surely some of the best of the European Black Line graphics. Frank Miller used to do some really nice linework before he got so busy. Great, great stuff.
