Sleeping Killer database and collections

Those milk white ones are glow in the dark? If so they are indeed really awesome. Especially with those painted rainbow stripes.

That's great to hear, I was worried that it was gone for good. There's so much great Bwana (and more) history in there.

 

hmm, thinking about the history now, i'm almost tempted to restore all of the old blogs as well. i'll have to ping mr. fig belly on that...

One of these days im going to have to pick a Killer up. Its hard to with so many good releases popping up sometimes.

Anyone care to school me real quick?

Bought a Sleeping Killer recently, clear pink, and it's signed/doodled. The seller advertised it as signed by Gargamel.

Gargamel is a person? Without knowing for sure, I always figured a Bwana Spoons Sleeping Killer by Gargamel was akin to a KAWS 5YL by Medicom. Artist/Toy/Manufacturer. No?

The signature kind of looks like a flower if that helps any. Cheers.

My b, the flower doodle is around the blowhole. Here's the signature:

 

That's Bwana's signature on its right side behind the eye. This looks like an unpainted that was just signed / doodled by Bwana. Gargamel is a small production company made up of some amazing artists in Japan that design, paint, and produce sofubi toys. They also work with outside artists like Bwana, Arbito, Le Merde, Healeymade, and others to make toys for them. They've also worked with Super7 to produce a few of their toys.
