They have also done a white and a black version of that Jacket, well the threading was white and black. Maybe a silver? I forget.... Does that bee glow?
Ha! I get to re-use this pic again - see yellow jacket glow bee at back and note back print in mirror:
Tried to order that jacket and they are long sold out unless the gold print is a new colorway of the same jacket thats releasing soon.
No no, I have allot of respect for SB and Bounty Hunter clothing. Their material, design, and overall quality is def considered (IMO) as designer clothing and is superb in comparison to brands here like Volcom (now sold in Nordstroms ) and crap like that. I have several 200 dollar+ hoodies from SB and BxH (& one BxH $500 jacket) and couldnt be happier. I purchased a Mattix hoodie (185.00 +tax) from Nordstroms and less than 3 months later it was falling apart, the POS. I will rephrase: So when dressing myself, Money is no object. BobDuher no comment. I was dressed like a bum (I wear suits for a living, was on vacation damnit), had messed up bedhead, and unshaved (for 6 days) at the con. Back to the show: Yeah Usugrow rules, his art is super dank and theres a store in L.A. literally right next to S.U.R.U. on Melrose that sells some of his T-shirt designs, art prints (might be sold out), and skate decks as well as a slew of other decks and clothing, shoes, ect. The owner says (in extremely broken english) he's really good friends with Usugrow. The guy is super cool so If anyones in the area check it out.
Next to SURU - Brooklyn Projects. I don't recall them selling his art prints, even at the Usugrow show they had 18 months or so ago - where it seemed that Scott and I were the only people there on opening night. I think the owner is ex-Anthrax roadie Dom, and altho he's from the East Coast his English isn't that bad
Thats the place, I knew you would chime in on this lol. The guy I met was Japanese and seriously had really broken english (not capping on him at all) so maybe I assumed he was the owner due to his knowledge. I was there about 4 days after the con ended and they did in deed have 2 Usugrow B&W prints hanging for sale, for a nice chunk of coin I might add.
that would be takeo, nicest kid ever. he usually works the echo park store where the usugrow exhibit now hangs.
