Those are all great. But aren't they quite late in releasing this? With a 4-6 week turnaround time these should have been announced about 2+ months ago.
Everyday is halloween in Skinner/Lamour/pardee land! $500 may seem like a lot but go into any halloween store, a high quality mass produced mask can run $200 and up so i thinks its reasonable especially if a custom or HP skinner or lamour kaiju can go from $300-500+
For a run of 10 by a highly sought after mask maker, $500 is a very decent price. The release schedule reflects the hard work involved, although I'm sure they would have loved to have them out at the beginning of this month.
Honestly, with the amount of work it must take for each of these masks (esp. Skinner's and Lamour's, with all the hair-work to be done), I was surprised to see they weren't $800 apiece. $500 is really a good price for such a cool, novel collaborative presentation of the respective artists' concepts.
Maybe its because I'm not a huge halloween fan but I wouldn't payy more then $30 for a mass prodiced mask. These being a while different story.
If someone had described it to me, I would have thought I would hate it. It really turned out amazing though.
haha You think I was right. But with all the havoc I caused as a kid. I'm afraid it'll all come back to me, if I'm out and about. Like I'm a Karmic egg magnet haha.
My thoughts exactly! I know these are high quality and hand crafted but I can't just shell out the money for them at the moment. So broke lately. Wish I had a credit card because I'm loving all three of these. Would look great to put on a mannequin head and set them atop of my toy detolfs. *sigh*
I know I'm a little late, But holy shit!!!! Did anyone get one????? I'm broke, and yes prices are high..... But go to a Halloween store..... A nice one... Especially in New Orleans or Las Vegas. Masks are insanely expensive. Almost this price and painted by a 12 year old. If I can scrape the money up does anyone know who to contact? Thanks
