This is one of the few weekends where I've been able to spend more than a couple of hours at home, so lots of rearranging and reorganizing going on here. I've been in my new apartment six months and figured it was time to shake things up. Some friends of mine gave me this ultra-cool "tic tac toe shelf" as a housewarming gift, which now showcases my Soul of Bullmarks: Inhabitants of Nebula M78 have been segregated into their own ghetto on the bottom of the shelf, as they are inferior (they don't stand up well): And a couple of Iwakura Bullmark Legends hang out with my Kubrick: Across the room, family photos adorn the wall: And the subjects guard my XM unit. Everything else, being catalogued, priced, and sorted on the floor... TO BE CONTINUED...
Rog, so is that one of those Jumbozilla's by Slash (GID/ Unpainted) or are they one of the smaller Giant size B-Club reissues? Love that custom hedorah!
The Godzillas on each side are B-Club reissues, not quite as big as that Slash Jumbozilla. That's why I want one so bad! ;p
I commissioned mad genius Paul Kaiju to paint the flesh giant Goji I've had for years, and this is the result: I asked him to do "The Lost Bullmark" and I think he knocked it out of the park. It has the wabi sabi in spades. He also fixed this for me, it was lacking something: And now, thanks to Mr. Kaiju, the Shelf of Immaculate Symmetry is complete:
Both the glow and the one Paul painted are B-Clubs. They're reissues of the Bullmark Giant Godzilla (the one the kid goes down the slide with in Godzilla vs. Hedorah).
Hey I'm curious, hows the quality of the Iwakura Bullmark figures... I might buy some to fight with my neo Kaiju toys, but I'm not sure how they would fit in...
totally acceptable as safe-to-take-to-the-office, but not something I integrate to my collection shelves at home. (I say safe because I wouldn't take my collection stuff to work, as it could disappear, wind up in some random tresspassing kid's hands, or get pissed on by rats)
