SF Comic Con?

Hey BASK, anybody got plans for SF Comic Con? Any toy makers/painters/customizers/ruiners planning to attend? It's 9/2-9/4.

Since Wondercon left SF, we haven't really had an event of our own. We used to do trade fests in J-town, S7 shows...stuff like that.

Just floating the idea...putting the feelers out.

I'd love the chance to meet up with the BASK gang, catch up, and geek out. What do you guys think?

Probably no trade fest and just meet up at the Con. Also, I found Shibby! Anyone...shibby...anyone...

 

Goddamnit, we're going to be at Dragoncon. WHY would they put it the same weekend as another huge convention?

 

Anybody else up for a local TradeFest? Just trying to blow the dust off a withered BASK....

I might go on Sunday. I have a couple of friends that will have booths and are not too happy with how the organizers...ummm...organized the event. Also, I hear there are 2 other Cons during the same weekend (I think SacCon is also this weekend).

 

Its also expensive to go in to just see 100 booths. $40 a day
