SECRET BASE to present “Japanese Devil”

Maybe I am going crazy (its possible) - but is there a thread about the next weekends SB show? If there is awesome, and no apologies for planting this here. Based on what I read below its going to be awesome - so who's coming?

Toy Art Gallery is proud to team with Japanese vinyl toy mavericks SECRET BASE to present “Japanese Devil”, opening Saturday July 7th. This is Secret Base’s first-ever West Coast exhibition and they are bringing the heat with an enormous assortment of exclusive vinyl toys, prints, art, apparel, and more! Hiddy of Secret Base and Hiroshi and the THREE TIDES TATTOO crew will be in attendance making this an opening not to be missed!

Exclusives will be available first come, first served to show attendees. Line tickets will be given out starting at 12 PM noon on Saturday, July 7th.

Exclusive merchandise will be available at shop.toyartgallery.com starting Sunday, July 8th.

Same here. I can't have any temptations before SDCC. It's bad enough I have to restrain myself from spending on preview night.

Sad that this has to be the weekend before the Con, had I of seen a Rebel Ink in the preview though... it would change my feelings and I'd be there in a heartbeat... watch, since I decided to not go... there will be some :/

 

Time for a photostory (havent done one of these for years):

7:00AM - loading car up for the show. But first a trip to the dentist


7:15AM - pugs not happy. But despite Milhouse using up all my SDCC money, Im just happy he didnt snuff it last week.


10:00AM - dentist done - coffee slurped - unloaded 10 crates oustide a deserted TAG:


10:05AM - 2 in:


10:06AM - 8 to go - trying for a one off, but turns out eight crates of vinyl isnt that light....


Later that day...the TAG team starts prepping the store...and its looking great....


Then THIS GUY turns up
