They are the cases from Hello Kitty cell phone straps a couple years ago for Halloween from the gacha gacha machines.

I feel a lot better knowing that it's just a bunch of random assembled parts. Still cool, but not for me. But I had totally forgotten about those green/clear protos!

the proto astro brain is actually available.
hiddy broke the figure up into parts and released them in different "junk packages" a while back in the outlet store.
each junk package contain a couple of common figures and a couple of proto/NG parts.
if you manage to buy the right packages, you can assemble a few protos that also included the vampire, brains.
but it is very difficult to assemble the figures as the packages were released randomly at different time and most importantly the packages were not cheap especially if u just want an arm or a head or a body.
quite a clever way of selling, but for hardcore fans, it will be quite an feat if u can hunt down the parts and assemble them back into the original proto!
i think it does put a bit of fun back into collecting?

Kinda like the "Build a Bot" figure pieces that came with each Futurama figure...but way harder and WAY more expensive. Would be kinda fun if I had a lot more money AND the packages were cheaper (even if I was rich I would have a hard time spending tons of money on a toy).

I'm pretty sure this is all of them. They are in Mook order. After that they are just kind of placed wherever.

I'm counting 109 of them. Some are point card pieces and some are rare ones that didn't make it into the Mook. Not really sure how they may have been released.

I bought my first Bee on April 13th, 2006. Yesterday I got the last regular release I needed to say I'm sort of complete.
