@datadub Don had a whole bunch of one-offs, test pulls and unusual fight size rxh I was always jealous of. I bought a few unpainted GID from him and the other toys in the photos were enough to make you cry. I bet he still has 'em all.
logang could probably speak more to their history, but there were unpainted versions of many of the releases at that time, either given as gifts or secret sales to friends/family. From time to time you see these come up on the secondary market, and they are often still bagged. There were also some test shots of Mutant Heads in clear colored bubble vinyl that were never put into production. If that is a clear pink bubble Head, it may have been from that lot.
I’m amazed they haven’t happened again in other toys or that I can think of. I wonder if they were mistakes or were they trying to get them in that form.
Yeah, just been picking up what I can. RxH was my first true sofubi obsession, so it's nice to be able to build it back. Feels right.
Here is my full rxh collection. Hasn't changed much in 10 years. Lol View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
Nice G. Of all the toys I've sold in recent years (From different brands) the one I really regret was the rxh slime hone borg. It's something I won't ever find again but still love it.
me too. I like the green painted and white with black rub and yellow eyes as well. Hone Borg was a favorite. I wish Mori did more with the sculpt. So much potential for some bad-ass color designs. was the kabuki hone borg re-released in glow vinyl? If so, I need to track it down. this one is a favorite as well. Simple, but looks good and works nice next to blues and greens. I wondered if it was a shocker henchman tribute.
