On march 19th i will be having a show that i have been working pretty hard on and am really excited for. The show will be at Million Fishes Gallery where we (myself and Mikie Graham of BLAMO) will be turning the gallery into the house of collector Mr.Ghost. The show will feature new artwork, toys and furniture, as well as a performance by The Never Never.

This show is starting to take a step towards the direction of what i have always wanted to do with WKY art shows, and should hopefully be different than any other shows that you go to.

ALSO, the show will be the release of the second toy in my Mutant Monsters Mini series!

    Flyer Text:

“Mr. Ghost is an avid collector of art that others consider to be trash. You have been invited into his house of found objects, constructed by Zombiemonkie and decorated in the art of We Kill You. Join us for a night of art, music and fun! The festivities will commence at 6pm March 19th with a live performance by special musical guests “The Never Never” at 830pm sharp!”

Show was pretty cool. Great to meet Justin and see some familiar faces and friends. I'm sure there will be pics floating around.

yeah awesome show. the layout of the art was really integrated into the space and you could tell that WKY had spent a ton of time assembling his show. a good amount of the art inside was arranged on the side of this wooden, human-sized diorama. the toys were awesome, but the layout of the space and how the art was displayed was what i found really impressive.

also the modified lawn ornament sculpture bunny into bunnyzilla was awesome. the third eye was key. so many awesome canvases makes me wish i had more disposable income. that Murder piece would have been coming home with me, but sadly it is not to be. for now. :)
