What are you talking about? Not enough vinyl? We pay that much for 4inch figures. It does seem a little high. I was hopeing for a nice price around $50-$60. I guess I will have to catch a sale somewhere. I really like this figure. Its really gimicky to me. i like it!!!!!! maybe there will be a sick colorway at this years sdcc and I can get it signed?

Actually he smiled fairly often. Go to amazon.com and search for The Complete Peanuts, pick a volume, search inside the book, and click "Surprise me" a few times. I'd guess that maybe 5-10% of the random pages it brought up had Charlie Brown smiling.

I like this for western vinyl, has a garbage pail kid feel to it and a nod to our pop culture here in the states without putting it down like the fat ronald mcdonald.

WHat do people think of the Obamraham (sp?) bust?

I like the execution, but picked one up and its is lightweight, smaller than the Koxick busts, unarticulated (obviously, but makes it less costly to produce) and seems like not very much for a staggering $200 a pop!!!!!!!!!

LA local can see a bunch of them at De La Barracuda.

The bust is 'meh' for me. It looks less Obama tinted than the actual painting... but as you mentioned Muton, the execution looks all right.

I wish the lighting scheme in this photo:

were just painted onto the toy. I might pick it up then. McFarlane toys did that a few years back when they painted a spawn figure to match the lighting of the character on the spawn #7 cover:

I think matching the lighting Ron English uses would be a huge step towards capturing his style in vinyl.
