-Seeing Big Youth and Iggy Pop/Stooges last week- stage diving at 60=amazing -Upcoming shows- The Good, the Bad, and the Queen and the Arctic Monkeys Warfield show -I can finally do a toe stand -Spending too much money on Biskup stuff today
NICE list!!!!!!!!! If I can weedle my way into teh Stooges show toimorrow night, I'll be there! Arctic Monkeys, wonder when they'll be here in LA? And Dmaon's new band - is that a co-headline or two separate shows?
The Arctic Monkeys are doing the Coachella Festival and I think that's it for CA. GBQ and the AM are 2 separate shows that are a day apart- guess a lot of the UK based bands are starting their US tours off there(Coachella). Also, to add to the rockin' list- Biskup posting that they were done for the day. Thank heavens- I thought I'd have to sit and refresh all day......
I probably should have got tix for the arctic monkeys show at the warfield... I saw them there last time, very good show! but alas, i've spent too much $$ on upcoming shows... I got: Jarvis Cocker next week, Bjork, and Rock the Bells
-Yay! More great shows coming up in SF got tickets for The Horrors, Grinderman, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, and White Stripes -the Lucky Cats are in!
-Cooking more- I've always loved cooking, but I got kinda lazy and uncreative with it over the last few years. That has done a 180 over the last couple months. -Promotion/new position at work -Losing my mind working two F/T positions simultaneously until my old one gets filled...help me! -Doing more art projects with my son -All the shots of fantastic custom work we are regularly treated to here -Music: Battles, Mammatus, Christine Baczewska, Frog Eyes, Cornelius -That Fewture/Artstorm Mazinger 1901 AD Doublas I saw pictured in another thread here...and I'm not even into robots! -Cleaned out/organized my porch this weekend- long overdue! Feels great! -Almost warm enough to go swimming!
- Training new guy at work to do the job I had to take over when previous employee left (leaving me, as the new guy at the time, to take over his position since it was pivotal to the operation of the company). I hated the work, and now it leaves me to do what I am actually there for. This is a HUGE relief and I am so glad I don't have to do that shit anymore. - A complete Galtan set! - Getting more and more Skull Toys, in pursuit of a complete set (eventually). - My girlfriend is the most awesome person around. - Next week will be the last week of classes for this semester. - Some cool games coming out soon for the Xbox 360. - Buckethead still kicks fucking ass.
