    This seems so strange. I understand for the most part the prototype might not be a necessary item to have any longer regarding production, but you would think there would be more sentimental value attached to the actual part of the process that the blood sweat and tears went into, even if it isn't shiny and rotocast like the end result. And the historic(?) value... I know I would love to see a showing of old Marusan/Bullmark/Etc. prototypes all together, or even a newer company like Gargamel or something.

    +1, I made sure the factory sent back the resin prototype of my toy. atleast with that, should anything happen to the mold (weather it has gotten worn or damaged) I can always have the toy re-tooled.
