    Seconding the Oblivians/Quintron record, that's probably my favorite record they ever did (and Soul Food is very hard to beat).

    If you dig that, try and find a copy of God's Got It by the Reverend Charlie Jackson. RIDICULOUS amounts of soul going on there, totally awesome record.

    such a good song, and the album that is on is all around solid!

    you can also add a helluva alot of Johnny Cash.

    the term unblack metal always makes me chuckle. but yeah, there is a whole horde of unblack stuff out there. i actually listen to quite a bit of it: horde, crimson moonlight, kekal, (early) extol, and the dudes that pretty much started it all: mortification!
