Hey guys! You have to remember the geniouses over at MTV were the first to put John Steart on the air - and then promptly cancel him after three weeks!!! Morons!
I could have sworn that I remember watching way more than 3 weeks worth of episodes of his show on MTV...are you sure it was cancelled that quickly? In fact, I recall one comical time when he had Marilyn Manson perform (this was when they were largely unknown) and they set the stage on fire, and John Stewart looked genuinely scared for his safety. It looked like things were getting out of control for him and he was at a loss as to what he should do. While it was happening, his jokes about it quickly turned to nervous chatter...
I think your right HP. I guess I am thinking of the Fox version of the show. I know he might have been on MTV for like a half a season and then it was cancelled and then went to a "small" network and was axed pretty quick!
