Most threads have a focal point. This one doesn't.

 

I regret missing this excellent figure with an excellent backstory:

"Even though air plants are popular because of their ease of cultivation, they still need adequate moisture and nutrients. The Tillandsia Monster is a mutation of a neglected air plant that has developed feelings and has transformed from a plant into a monster through anger. However, although he became a monster, he didn't know what to do, so he started working to make a living."

To reiterate. It's a sentient air plant that took a job at Tokyu Hands.

 

I, too, put my anger towards my employment

 

I, as well, became an angry monster through neglect and improper nurturing.

 

TOKYU HANDS is no more, since its sale by Tokyo Fudosan Holdings to it's competitor Cainz Industries.

Now just known as 'HANDS' . . . hopefully there aren't any staff (or monster plant) cuts.

 

Oh that’s right, I did remember reading about that. Such a shame, too. The old logo is iconic. Another victim of ‘blanding’.

I'd say front, but that's a lot of responsibility.

 

Anyone see this trailer yet? Ultraman getting clocked in the head with Sato-chan has me sold.

 

I haven't watched it yet but I'll do that right now. Just saw earlier today an IG post showing how the Haneda airport is decorated with a really cool Ultraman Rising statue and how all of the merch is being sold right now, really cool

A pair of ceramic Goji sculptures by Esther Shimazu. They breathe out smoke via incense (pop off the head, insert incense cone and light it). Very cute!
