Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!

2013 C2E2 Exclusive PRODUCTION "INFECTION" ARMORVOR will be available all 3 days of the con (limited quantities each day & I withhold the right to cease sales each day @ anytime to control fair distribution). They will be in the Nerd City booth #967. They will be strictly limited to 3 per customer & $10 ea. (sorry cash only...no credit cards). They will come fully bagged complete w/ a header card and trading card (incredibly designed by Nathan Newell/ http://www.dorkdimension.com & printed by Ben Spencer/ http://galaxxor.blogspot.com/ ). To be fair to all the collectors attending C2E2, these will ONLY be available @ C2E2 and I will NOT be selling these via email, pm, or phone calls. IF there would be any left after C2E2 I will make those available online shortly after C2E2. These are full production figures produced by Onell Design.

Onell Design is down since last friday's drop - things look pretty bad. Paypal meltdown and then some.

what a great design! the mech and beetle elements merge just right. if the elbow, knee, and ankle joints were hinged/angled to bend, it would be fantastic.

is there a backstory?

 

Thanx! There is a backstory. Matt Doughty and I have been collaborating on my character Kabuto Mushi since 2010. This is only the first prototype and obviously it will have holes in the hands (like I put in the bottoms of the feet), as well as a backpack (not shown in these photos) that is also a double sided head, probably several other tweaks/design/engineering changes prior to the next step. For now though very content w/ this first prototype and I appreciate your kind words.

i meant backstory as in the character's fictional history that ties in with the rest of the glyos universe, but your behind the scenes story is even better.

i don't know how you guys continue to come out with such cool toys year after year.

Ya, sorry... I should have expanded...Doughty has a backstory on how the Kabuto Mushi tie into the Glyoverse. If you know Doughty he has the BEST detailed stories of his universe and how everything he collaborates on ties into his world. He is a toy genius!

I just finished up Kabuto Mushi MKII proto #2. First was to make the most refined/polished pieces and to mold another round of him...#2, #3, & #4 for Doughty.

Nice to run into you on here, man. And again, I really dig this figure. Always been a Kabuto Mushi fan, and this sorta "Metroid"ish styling just adds to the figure, indeed!

 

Only the prototypes are available at this time. Due to the shear amount of labor I have put into this figure (sculpting, molding, scraping/sanding/filing/polishing & articulation) they aren't cheap, but, w/ 18 separate pcs. (1 more than the Armorvor prototype I produced), this prototype is less than the Armorvor prototype I sold prior to full production.

those look great. the detail makes it look massive, but it's probably to scale with the other Gylos characters. cheers!
