Official SDCC 2008 Preview Thread (Spoilers)

They'll be doing a few showcase gigs in NYC at Blender Theater at Gramercy in October so they're still around.

You must have missed the Puppet from Serbia or Croatia or wherever. Its basically what you wanted Liquid but insanely high quality with a cloth outfit.

They don't seem to like to repeat themselves so not surprised no Eskimo figure.

Just so everybody knows, the TT Exclusive Rangeas and Bearhunter are also both pink and are both GID...I'm not sure of the paint scheme on the TT Rangeas, but the TTF versions are not GID...just wanted to clarify for those going to the Con.

as soon as we get pictures I'll put them up, but as of now I just wanted to let the glow news go...

 

I thought they were salmon color.

 

I guess for TTF it makes sense to use a seafood type color...but describing it as salmon makes me question my whole collection, and want to throw up...like you said, it's worse than "flesh."

Wait, I'm confused, so the Rangeas is a good deal pink? It looks absolutely killer!

 

As a dude with half a brain stuck on Rangeas and half a brain stuck on Dokugan (*shiver of terror*), I can say that the TT booth is my super huge 100 percent first stop to make on Thursday. Thanks for the advance info. REALLY hoping there'll be enough of these to last past preview night.

 

Hate to say it, but seems to be a trend.

 

Maybe i'm late but those Residents figures are a total letdown... This could have been a cool oppurtunity. I'm not even commenting on that Arkiv turd.

Wow-O. A Rangeas at SDCC too? Lord, I am gonna be broke for, like, ever!!!!

 

Whoever it was that said Jermaine Rogers vs. KAWS had it more or less spot-on. It is, in a word, awful.

just found out the the paint scheme is basically the same on both the TTF and TT Rangeas...so there are two versions, and the TT one is the GID...
