Direct quote from Kiyoka of Gargamel to Brian Flynn of S7 after the new Snakes of Infinity toys were a certifiable hit with the Japanese collectors this past weekend. It was really cool to see such a genuinely warm response for these toys. It really surprised me to be terribly frank. See some pics here from the "Sofubi Blog" done by KadomiumTank, the Japanese lovechild of Pickleloaf and Toybotstudios. http://pink.ap.teacup.com/kadomiumtank/ I love the facemelting surrealism in Josh's figure below, and the paint quality of the shell is amazing.
Wow that is a killer picture of the ThrashOut door with the S7 made out of the post cards!! The door was open when I got there so I didn't see it until now. Great link. Thank you for posting!!
What was this one? http://pink.ap.teacup.com/kadomiumtank/ ... 590802.jpg I hadn't seen that coffin box before, fucking killer.
dude, let's see some photos of the toy that you have in your hand in that photo. looks like a beauty!! hp? very nice.
That's a pic of the badass HP Shikaruna Dororo. I snagged him for a buddy (who was out of town at a wedding) who hooked me up with my holy grail earlier in the week. I was happy to return the favor.
toy karma at work. NICE. i haven't been bitten by the Shikaruna bug yet, thank god. my wallet needs a rest. that thing is HUGE. how tall is it ?
Sorry, that's the only one. I really like the figure, though. He reminds me of the same vibe the two-headed bemon guy has. A bit of a departure from the kaiju inspired toys Shikaruna have been known for.
The paint ap on the shell looks great. I missed it up for sale online. I really like the shell paint though. Its good to hear that these were well recieved in japan.
How about these Squirms: http://pink.ap.teacup.com/kadomiumtank/ ... 525447.jpg I want any one of those. phil
