Random question, but was there ever a "slave ship" made for the voltron toy line? Its the ship with the skull that the guys are transported in the first episode. I keep finding the coffins but haven't seen anything else online (and can't find a screen cap of it to post).

Just bought some Avatar toys. Pretty decent quality. I only got the Movie Masters Warrior Jake and Neytiri - the enlarged action figures.

The only toys of the villain ships were made by Panosh. I don't think there was a toy made of any flying ships other than the Zarkon Zapper and Doom Blaster.

Thanks, those are from the same line as the coffins. I could've sworn I saw one of these a long time ago but maybe I'm just merging the show with the coffin toys and remembering it.
I didn't even recall the castle playset and saw it recently on a blog posting.

I posted about these before with a crap pic I found on ebay of a beat up one, everyone seemed underwhelmed as nobody said anything about it. I had a complete set, one is missing, little sisters sold it in a garage sale years back  So here they are, with skateboards, dug them out of my parents attic the other day. I still think they are pure awesomeness, been trying to get them MIB for years now.

They would look super great next to a TMNT collection. I always love toys marketed to boys that incorporate rooted hair... and top ponytails no less.

So the holes in their hands are so they can do handstands on their boards? They aren't missing weapons or anything?

The only markings are on the skate deck.

I have been looking for a while for more info like a line name or a sealed one with no luck. The holes are for doing hand stands, the only missing accessory is the masked warthog dude had a chain with a snake head on the end coming out his back that I couldn't find. His deck also was a battering ram that got sold with a different figure which I can't remember for the life of me and has been driving me nuts. I got this set when I was 7 at some outlet toy store I used to go to on every road trip we would go on, about twice a year. Very obscure, but these were my favorite toys as a kid. The skate decks are on ball bearings.

found a bunch of kinnikuman as well during the attic dig, had about ten times this but guess they went in garage sales too, can't believe nobody snagged the Satan's Cross figure. The two waving black hole guys I had are gone however =/. MUSCLEs really were the best toy as a kid, they could fit in your pocket, were near industructible, had no paint to chip and were weird characters you knew nothing about. Most of mine were single quarter machine pulls after raiding my parents for change and going to Toys R Us.

    Awesome stuff.

This totally makes me wish I still had my random 80's toys around to photograph in a jumbled bunch! It all looks so perfect displayed that way!

Those two are awesome. Lucky kids. :D

MUSCLES rock too. Good memories... Raiding the parents' attic for childhood toys is like opening a time capsule.
