yes, madball as well, all have already shipped to the store, but will probably not be released until I return home.
I went by S7 today and they had just cracked open the box. got the White skull, the White Barbarian and a Madball.
I also got my bloody madball from my secret dude in japan. paid a 100 for it which seems fair. so now....back to needing just the gid Kaiju mantis and the gid ghostfirghter and the all black madball....
does anyone know if the all black madball has been released yet? I sent in my tickects but have not heard anything. I think it is kinda weird that they have not popped up anywhere????????
the all black madball I think was a lottery with the tickets. Only 25 made (?) and then it was a lottery between the submittors. I think that is how it worked in japan.
Hey Brian, Do you know when they might be putting the madball mantis up on Super 7's site? Kozik mentioned they had them in the store but I always feel like an ass calling.
Just got the White SkullBrain, the White Barbarian, and the Madball (ended up being the regular version), today from ToyTokyo ....They look sweeeet! The Skullbrain is hands down my favorite version ...Just so you know, it's an homage to an old villian from Kinnikuman (m.u.s.c.l.e. men)
Maybe it is a conjunction between kinniku (muscle) and gaikotsu (skeleton). kinkotsuman Indeed, he seems to bear the character for "kotsu" (bone related) on his forehead: 骨 The other guy has written にく, roughly "meat/flesh."
Yeah the little guys name is Meat. If anyone is interested in reading some of the original volumes of Kinnikuman the can be found translated here. http://www.toriyamaworld.com/kinnikuman ... uman1.html Be warned the first couple volumes are way different, story and art wise, than later volumes. Kind of an interesting progression to see.
M.U.S.C.L.E guys were one of THE best toys I had. I am after this skullbrain now!! Thanks for the link MrStone.
I still have my bucket of them. Had a tonne of them. Brother and I used to battle it out all the time. I've looked on eBay to complete a set and so forth, but it's a hard thing to do...especially outside America. Also looking on the net, the Japanese had a hundred or so MORE characters to buy, and some of them are really cool.
