Somehow, Looking at the overall paint job & the back print of the pic, I can't stop thinking of Metallica's - Damage Inc.

 

How much were these at retail in Japan?

Any news if Sb will sell them on line?

 

I would assume 60-65.00 plus tax but could be more. I have no clue if SB is selling them.

I'm 99% sure SB has never sold a Wing online or in shop. So I'm doubting they will have these.

 

Is it just me or do these match a bit too much? The "sets" are usually simialar but never the same colors just used different. I can't say I like it too much. Clear red would have been nice too. Not a fan of the copper color either how its used here. Meh, maybe I am getting to picky.

 

From my uderstanding this is a clear red vinyl, you can kind of tell in this picture from Kaiju Taro
Personally I think this red one would look great next to the original red wing and the milky white next to the shake pirate, mmm Pushead xSB goodness.

it actually looks and works really well on these.

 

i picked up the rainy day wing in the shop, but i think that is the only wing they did ever sell there.

 

i cant wait to these in the collection hopefully in the next week would be good but i am sure i can wait

the chase would have been even better if it was a GID ?

 

What about those who have the first skullwing, this new one would look just fabulous with it.

not sure how i feel about the XV tampo on the back.

the colorway pair compliment each other nicely.

i think i like the white better of the two.

 

This is a nice pair. In the future, I would like a release that does not have the Astrozombies logo on the front.

Got them in yesterday. Confirmed: the red is clear red vinyl! Lovin it.

 

What do you make of the copper coloring? Does it blend well? Sometimes when I see the head it looks a bit off.

No wings in Vegas yet...Hopefully tomorrow!

 

The copper is awesome and blends best on the red version. But IMO it looks best on the white. The quick fade from copper to white makes for a killer contrast. And I prefer the copper shorts on the white to the brown shorts that the red version is wearing.


I like the back print as well.

 

I feel like the white one has a bit too much contrast with the paint. In pictures, I really preferred the white over the red...but in hand, I think the red wins out. The color scheme just seems to work better for me.

 

These wings have a tendency to have too much prints and markings on the body---wish it was more toned down.
