New People Mall opens this weekend (near S7?)

This might not go over well with my fellow San Franciscans as we tend to be slightly superstitious about earthquakes, but whenever I think of the mall's name I can't help but hear an old song in my head.

 

Junko Mizuno will be signing on Aug 22nd...in case anyone is interested. I might show up and stand in line with all the teenies. Maybe I'll be the tallest one in line for once.

 

What's she signing?

 

she has a new book out. i think S7 has it...but so will Kinokuniya and New People.

I'm just gonna see if she'll do a quick sketch for me.

 

aw man... definitely have to try to go to that! love her work

 

Junko was nice enough to put a small sketch in my sketchbook so I didn't have to buy anything. I should have chatted with her a bit longer.
