Hey All, The Marmit site has posted a few vinyls and kits for pre-order. These were just displayed at the Tokyo Toy Fest. Check it out:

That Megalon is amazing. The first pic looks like a still from the movie.

Judging from the price on the Megalon, I'm guessing it will be an unpainted model kit. These were already released this year as unpainted kits and a painted Iron Joe exclusive, but the painted ones were pricey on the aftermarket. I've been wanting an unpainted one for John at Kaijuzoo to build/paint for me so I'm excited about this re-release.

Anyone know the name of the Kamen Rider villian pictured with the tentacle/whip arm? I'd love to pick up that one as well.

    Kittyfire is so cool!

Curious that they're going back to the Andro-melos for ideas. Not a complaint, mind you. It just seems odd.

yeah I just picked up the Bandai fig of this for 500yen - they look almost identical.

TBH the more Marmit I see, the less I like. They really are all over the place. Ocassionally they hit a winner - but most of the time they seem top be jus slightly off from something - differnet strokes I guess. Kind of feel the same about Bear Model.

Yeah, the Bandai figs can be had for dirt cheap. Apparently, "Inspire" either made or is making a figure of the Andro-Melos, as well.

Hey Eric - Yes, this Megalon is the rereleased unpainted kit. I already have a custom commission in queue from the first release and it is a huge 10" sculpt with a very dynamic pose and a clear insert for covering over the painted eyes - very nice attention to detail.

I'll likely be ordering a handful of them for a small KaijuZoo exclusive series, please send me an email if interested. Thanks.

Of course, I'd like the kitty fire. But I am strangely drawn to the veggie guy. A whole shelf of veggie and flower kaiju would be cool.

Wandering the Marmit site, I saw a few others I like ... But I'd agree that there is a lot of hit-or-miss. The Pot-Belly Kittyfire is great.
