James, I think that "recent Post" link is dynamic. The number in between find-new and posts seems to increase over time.
Hey James, I noticed that when trying to watch a forum, you can choose to be notified for new messages posted or new threads posted, but not be notified for both. Can it be setup to receive all new posts to the forums, like in the olden days? Also, even though I have the notify by email option selected, it doesn't seem to be working. But then again, that could be that I switched between the two (new thread / new messages) when new posts went up. Thanks, James! This is a lot to take in, bud, but I surely appreciate all of your hard work on it
Am I a dummy (dont answer that) or is there no way to see PMs as a conversation anymore? Mine are all standalone messages.
I think that being notified for new messages is the same as being notified for all posts. In this software, posts are called messages. And I haven't checked to be sure that email is working correctly, I'll look into that soon.
Looking for the same info. Its not "watched threads" cuz that requires to choose to watch a specific thread. I liked the "view your posts" action on the old site so i could quicckly see what threads i posted in/interested have been updated without seeing othere "new posts" i dont care about or having to navigate throught the actualy forums themselves
Only thing i'm seeing right now is that it's a tad bit difficult to distinguish unread replies from read ones. Either unread needs to be a lot more bold, or as someone already mentioned, change to red and/or blue (which i personally prefer)
Hello, Mister Skullbrain. Thank You, I'll give it a try. I did just find a couple of skullbrain emails sent from siigning up to be notified (from new messages posted), but I wasn't notified when they came in because they were in my spam folder. The reason reads: "Why is this message in Spam? It is in violation of Google's recommended email sender guidelines."
Thanks JP, that's something I need to figure out. When we were testing I had multiple people tell me that SB emails were going to spam. "Automagically" has been on there for maybe 2 years?
This. I've disliked this from the start. Don't be afraid to pare it down a bit... the beauty of the old Skullbrain was how simple it was. To me, anyway. Not to mention having 'followers' in the profile seems pretty useless to me.
