My friends mom wanted me to help sell her antique dolls on either ebay/craigslist. I came across two small dolls that kinda looked like bero bero japanese dolls. And on the back it says made in japan and have a diamond logo with OJ or OI on it. Took a few closeups but still hard to tell what the logo says. They are also glue on a circle cardboard that has stamp of made in Japan on the bottom. Anyone know anything bout these? They kinda look like a pair of wedding-ish dolls.
This is just a shot in the dark, but could the OJ mean "Occupied Japan" ? As in, Made in Occupied Japan, common marking on Japanese goods post WWII until the early 50s? Just guessing.
