Regular season is winding down... anyone excited for the playoffs?

San Antonio kept on OKC's butt, and took 1st place in the west.

Bulls are putting it down in the east with Rose sitting out on many games...

I think some sleepers to be worried about are Atlanta, and Memphis... spots 3-8 are all up for grabs in the west... and that 8th spot is up for grabs in the east... will NY make it to the playoffs? is Phoenix or Utah going to tell Denver to stay home and wait for Manning? its getting to the good portion of the season.

I'd love either the Bulls or Thunder to take home a ring.

My team is LA but they are in shambles and I can't stand the heat.

I don't think the Spurs have a chance even though they are playing at a high level.

Im all for LA too... they are doing better than the start of the season... Sessions has helped alot... but i dunno if we have the drive to push it all the way... we'll have to see the cards we are dealt though... I can not stand the heat as well... I wouldnt mind seeing the bulls win it though.

I'm hoping for an LA playoff miracle... as long as we don't have a repeat of last year and Miami doesn't win then I can deal.

Hopefully the Lakers can hold off the Clippers to keep the 3 seed in the West. But if Rose is 100% when he comes back, the Bulls will be hard to beat. Hell, they are hard to beat with him on the bench right now. As for the Celtics, the shortened season has helped them the most, but I doubt they could sustain a long run in the postseason. Age always catches up with them in the end.

Agreed. The bulls are dangerous..and I think they have the tools to win it all especially with last year's playoff experience.
The celtics have been playing really as of late but I agree...that age is a huge factor especially in the playoffs.

As far as LA. I'm torn...I of course want them to win but Kobe is such an albatross because of his non passing and excessive shooting. Their bench is so absurdly thin. They need to get rid of several players and get better role players. Sessions and Gasol have been two consistent highlights but I'm tired of Bynum and tired of Kobe. I would love to see Durant in a Lakers uniform. ;)

Anyway..I'd be happy with the Bulls or Thunder winning it.. all. 7 more games to go.

Imagine what the Thunder would be if they had someone more consistent than Westbrook. Durant in a Lakers uniform? I would buy season tickets and commute from Maui. :)

Lakers pulled it off without Kobe... If we continue to play at the level we did tonight, then I have no worries

    anybody do your brackets?

every year i do a what i'd like to see happen,

and a what i think is going to happen bracket...

my what id like to see happen takes spurs, lakers, bulls and heat in the final 4... bringing Bulls to face the Lakers in the finals... MY HEAD WOULD IMPLODE if this was the case.

What i think is going to happen is we are going to see Spurs, Thunder, Bulls and Heat in the final 4.

and its going to be Spurs vs Heat... if this is the case.. I see LeBitch getting his first ring.

Well...The bulls are done. I'm incredibly bummed about Rose. Great athlete but was riddled with injuries this season and now a torn acl.

It's going to take a miracle for anyone to beat Miami on the East Conference Side.

agreed, might as well give the east to the Heat. With all the injuries I dont think anyone can compete with them... Hate seeing the Knicks roll over like that, hope they can put together a better showing for the next game.

Anyways looking forward to tomorrows games. I'm not counting the Lakers out yet, all the older teams are going to benefit from a short season.

Exactly! I saw the bulls being the inu ones that could challenge the heat... It's sad :/

Lakers, OKC, or spurs will win the west... And god I hope they stop lebron from ring #1

What pisses me off is rose shouldn't of even been in the game at that point!

12 points up in the 4th with less than 2 min to go... that is just dumb.

Spurs are looking scary right now. At least watching what happens in the West will be fun

I completely disagree about people debating whether or not they should have left Rose in. That play could have happened anytime during the game. It was a costly fluke. He changed mid air and landed awkward and it could have happened on any play.

It could have, but didn't... It happened when he should of been on the bench riding a game 1 win

Things can change VERY quickly. I didn't watch the game, but I wouldn't assume that a 12 point lead with 2 minutes to play is enough to call the game on. I've seen too many last minute heroics. A couple 3s, a steal and it becomes a very tight game - momentum swings to the underdog and the team that lost a lead begins playing tight.

I agree? But this is the bulls 1 vs 8 on home court...

Damn the Clippers game last night was intense!

Eh - if it didn't happen in Game 1 it would have happened a little later on.
